Stan was born in Detroit in 1956. After hearing a Blind Lemon Jefferson show, he jumped on the guitar and the blues. Working a short time with ZZ Top and Charlie Daniels propelled him toward The Kind and multiple awards.

Stan is a multi-instrumentalist and music producer awarded recently with producing Illinois Top Pop Album in 2010. Stan has performed with groups and solo artists Midge Ure (Ultravox), Phil Lynott (Thin Lizzy) and Mimi Betinis (Pezbnd) to name a few. He writes for TV & film and performs with his lap steel and custom bender.

 

Stan works in many styles - pop, punk, EDM, classical,  jazz and Texas Stomp (Country-Tech).
